The Bet. The bet was a good short story. The characters of the story where the lawyer and a banker. The banker makes a bet with the lawyer and the bet was that many years in prison is worst than the death penalty. So the banker says that you cant do it, and the banker says that the lawyer cant do 5 years then the lawyer says that he can do 15 years. So now the lawyer is in prison inside the bankers house. When he was in solitary confinement he read books and he learned many languages.
