I liked Summer of Secrets by Paul Langan because Darcy tells her secret, Darcy's mom is pregnant, and Duane Nye gets beat up by Cooper. First, Darcy tells her secret. Darcy is feeling nervous around boys because of what happened before. She tells her mom, dad, and little sister Jamee, whats been bothering her at dinner. Second, Darcy's mom is pregnant. Darcy's mom and dad keep it a secret from Darcy and Jamee. They tell at dinner one night, and Jamee is happy but Darcy is but she isn't. Third, Duane Nye gets beat up by Cooper. Duane steals $20 from his dad and blames it on Cooper. On the 4th of July, Cooper sees Duane at the park and beats him up. In conclusion I liked Summer of Secrets by Paul Langan because Darcy tells her secret, Darcy's mom is pregnant, and Duane Nye gets beat up by Cooper.
